Wonderful experience recording one of my favorite song as a child that I learned from my Mother Shyamala. This project started out as teaching students for an upcoming competition. When I was thinking of how to bring more feel and divinity to the beautiful song by Saint Purandara Dasa, I added all the different names of Govinda to the lovely Behag raga which took a different form as you see on the video. Thanks for my brothers Purna Prasad and Bindu Madhava for adding wonderful rhythms, and helping with the video and my husband Sridhar for sound recording.
